About Asia Pacific Media Services

Asia Pacific Media Services is a Hong Kong-based media syndication agency covering everything from regional security issues to local culture. Our main clients are well-known regional and international publications such as the Far Eastern Economic Review, the Asian Wall Street Journal, Jane's Defence Weekly, Jane's Intelligence Review, and Strategic Comments.

Asia Pacific Media Services maintains its Southeast Asia bureau in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai, right in the heart of the region. Our expertise stretches from the Indian Subcontinent to the Pacific islands, and from Australia to Mongolia.

Asia Pacific Media Services provides articles as well as books, and also undertakes special research projects for individual clients.

Writers

Bertil Lintner, Asia Pacific Media Service's main writer, is a Swede who has lived in Asia since 1975. He is the author of ten books and numerous booklets, and his articles have appeared in more than a hundred newspapers and magazines in Asia, Australia, North America and Europe.

Lintner served as President of the Foreign Correspondents Club of Thailand (FCCT) from January 1993 to January 1995 and is now a resident of Chiang Mai, Thailand.
